Welcome to DirectOffices! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and platform (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
2. Our Services
DirectOffices provides an online platform that connects office space owners ("Hosts") with individuals or businesses ("Guests") seeking to book such spaces. We are not a party to any rental agreement between Hosts and Guests and are not acting as an agent for any user.
3. User Accounts & Responsibilities
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your account, whether or not you have authorized them.
4. Financial Terms
For Guests, you agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your booking. For Hosts, you agree that DirectOffices may charge a service fee, which will be deducted from your payout. All payments are processed through a third-party payment processor, and by making or receiving payments, you agree to their terms of service.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation policies are set by the Host and are displayed on the listing page. DirectOffices will honor the Host's selected policy. Any service fees paid to DirectOffices are non-refundable. Please review the cancellation policy carefully before booking.
6. Content and Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are the exclusive property of DirectOffices, Inc. By creating a listing, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not endorse any Host, Guest, or property listing.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall DirectOffices, Inc., nor its directors, employees, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
